Founder & CEO

From Damascus to Wall Street, my journey has been shaped by the intersection of tradition and innovation, risk and responsibility, and financial success and personal values.

Before founding NoorVest, I spent more than a decade advising high-net-worth and ultra-high-net-worth families at J.P. Morgan Private Bank and UBS. During that time, I saw a consistent challenge: sophisticated investors had access to advanced financial strategies, but few solutions allowed them to align their wealth with their faith and values.

That insight led me to co-found NoorVest—a modern Halal wealth platform offering institutional-grade portfolios, personalized financial guidance, and flat, transparent fees. With no commissions, percentage-based charges, or hidden agendas, NoorVest places our clients’ interests and values at the center of every decision.

I’m a private banker by training and a strategist and builder by instinct. My career has always existed at the intersection of markets, technology, design, and meaning. I studied economics at the University of Rochester on a full scholarship as a Renaissance and Global Scholar.

Today, my focus is clear: to establish NoorVest as a global standard for principled, professional, and forward-thinking Halal wealth management. I believe wealth should do more than grow—it should create freedom, provide peace of mind, and help families build a future worthy of the next generation.

I live in the Washington, D.C. metropolitan area with my wife, Noor, and our daughter, Julia.
